This is a newer type of session that I am introducing through Savvy Cat Photography. I have done a few in the past and I want to make it a regular option for my clients because I have so much fun throughout the entire process. Welcome to my Personal Branding Sessions. These sessions are for anyone with a small business that are wanting to add a unique level to their marketing. Personal branding sessions are all about you, what you offer, who you are and why people want to hire you. It is important for people to know who they are working with and what better way to do that by introducing them to you and what you love. I can help you with this.
I don’t know about you but when I visit someone’s website or social media and there are no pictures of them or an about you page, I am less likely to hire them. I want to somewhat get to know the person, see their face and create a connection before I even speak to them. Do you feel the same way?
During your personal branding session, we start off with a phone consultation. I get to know you, understand your business and what you have to offer. All of this is important as it guides us to the look and the feeling you are wanting to portray in your personal branding images. From there we talk about location (in studio or on location), wardrobe, hair, makeup, props and even if you want to include your furry friend. Do you need your pet to be included? Absolutely not but who doesn’t love to see the special connection you have with your pets?!
Social media, at times, can be tough to keep up with as many people question what they should be posting each day. Personal Branding Sessions help with this also. We plan out each shot depending on what you want to tell your followers. We tell them a story. Your story. This will grab the attention of your followers. The thought and personal touch is what will make them stay.

I recently had a Personal Branding Session with Angie Spencer of RE/MAX First. I met Angie 3+ years ago when I was photographing Real Estate and we have kept in touch. I asked Angie a few questions about herself and this is what she had to say:
1. Can you tell me a bit about yourself and what you do?
I’m a human first and a real estate agent second. 
2. Why did you decide to become a Realtor?
I was a leader of a national sales team and was burnt out from my role and I wanted a change of scenery without having to go to an office. My Dad had been a real estate agent for many years and he said ‘what about real estate?’ I was literally SOLD! Quit my job and focused on studying for my license and never looked back.
3. What is one piece of advice for a client looking for their very first home?
My advice for people looking for their very first home would be to buy as soon as you are able to and don’t worry about ‘keeping up with the Jones’. Your first home may not be Pinterest worthy however, you can work up to it in the future.
4. Why did you need personal branding photos and why did you include Yoda & Tai?
I wanted to do personal branding photos to incorporate a fresh look to my marketing and social media. I really wanted the dogs with me because that's part of who I am.
5. What do you love most about your dogs and being a dog mama?
I love all kinds of dogs, especially my own. I enjoy going to dog parks and on nature walks with the boys. I like being outside and getting my steps in daily- these guys help me accomplish that.
